I can’t believe it’s my GCF anniversary! I am so lucky to have been directed to gym. It has changed my life! I was always an active and sporty kid, but as I got older and didn’t have mandatory gym class anymore like I did in high school, I basically never developed an exercise routine. I started exercising for real in the spring of 2014 when my therapist suggested it to reduce stress/anxiety and I couldn’t believe how well it worked! But then I let my work take over my life again and dropped the habit entirely. Then Emily introduced me to your gym last summer and it took me MONTHS to get into exercising regularly again but I finally did it! Your fast-paced and always changing class structure is exactly what I need to actually remain focused and invested enough to make the exercise count (unlike running for 20 minutes every day, which is the most I had accomplished before). Now my goal is to keep this routine and not let my work take me away from it again! Also it feels awesome to be stronger 😉
The last thing I want to say is that I *hella* admire you for being an intelligent, funny, and powerful business woman. This makes me happy and proud to spend my exercise money on your business. Also, you add an extra level of fun and entertainment to exercise, so I always look forward to it!

I’ve been going to Game Changer on and off for the past two years, and I love it! I always feel welcome no matter what my schedule allows. Jenn is an amazing trainer and very welcoming. There is a great sense of community here with a local approach to working out. I had never done much with weights before working out here, and Jenn is great at teaching proper form to prevent injuries. If weights seem daunting, this is the place for you. Alternatively, Jenn will wokr with more advanced people as well. Each class can be modified for your particular level and comfort, and every day of the week is a little different to keep it fresh. Jenn is very encouraging as well, so if you need a kick in the butt on any given day or month, you’ll get it!
I’ve been through several personal trainers over the past couple of years and found myself not fully clicking and losing interest fast. Quite the opposite experience with Jenn. She listened and helped me form my fitness goals and we meet weekly to kick my ass! I have yet to be “bored” with a workout because she is constantly bringing in new exercises and modifying to my body’s needs. Thanks to Jenn, I am finding my way back to fitness levels I have not achieved in years. In addition to personal training I have also picked up a weekly boot camp class. Class is filled with a diverse group of athletes of all levels that exude a positive attitude and welcoming spirit. And that culture starts with Jenn.

GCF is such an awesome place to workout! Normally gyms and weight lifting classes intimidate me, but at GCF, the workouts are fun AND challenging, and the people are welcoming. I’ve gone to the HIIT and Bootcamp classes, and each week the workout is different and exciting. Jenn is great to work with, and takes her time to explain how to do the exercises correctly, which I appreciate. Some other gyms do not offer enough guidance and I feel like I might end up hurting myself! I found GCF through ClassPass, but I will purchase a separate block of classes, because 3x a month is not enough!
Don’t be nervous–if you are looking for a gym that has great workouts that are effective and challenging, as well as fun, this is the place to go!
